MakeFileFit is designed as a local-first file utility. In the current public version, image processing and PDF metadata cleanup run in your browser. Your selected files are not uploaded to MakeFileFit servers.

Files

Files remain on your device during processing. Downloads are created from temporary browser objects and are discarded when you leave or refresh the page.

Analytics and ads

The app is analytics-ready, but no tracking ID is required for launch. Sponsorship placements are reserved in the interface and may be replaced later by privacy-respecting advertising or analytics providers. When a provider is enabled, this page should name it clearly.

Pro checkout

Pro checkout is handled by Stripe. After a successful payment, MakeFileFit can store a local Pro flag in your browser to remove sponsor placements and raise browser batch limits. Card details are processed by Stripe, not MakeFileFit.

Sensitive documents

Always review critical legal, medical, identity or government files before submission. Automated conversion can change quality, dimensions or metadata.
